Today is Ryan Fitzwater Blood Donor Day at the Brooksville Baptist Church.
The fifteen-year-old boy is rebounding from a serious tractor accident which
required him to receive numerous transfusions of blood. "Ryan's family is strongly encouraging the community to come out and donate blood today, from noon until 6 p.m. Special cards will be forward to Ryan and his family," according to Red Cross coordinator Sue Williams. Rick Fitzwater, Ryan's dad, said Ryan will be at the church between 3 - 4 p.m. while their family donates blood. The community is encouraged to come out today and donate blood in a "celebration of life," in honor of Ryan "Goob" Fitzwater.
