Jerald "Jerry" Harley Richards, 68 - Glasgow, Kentucky

Glasgow, Kentucky - Jerald "Jerry" Harley Richards, 68, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the T.J. Sampson Community Hospital.

He was born in Calhoun County, West Virginia and was a son of the late James Leamon and Clara M. Richards. He was a retired gear lab technician from Eaton and a member of the Masons.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Richards; daughter, Nanette Richards and fiancée Tommy Sneed; son, Keith Richards and his wife Carrie; 6 grandsons, Nick Richards, Shawn Smith, Randy Meek, Brett Willis, Matthew Richards, and Joshua Richards; 2 granddaughters, Dea Laivala and Leah Willis; 2 great grandsons, Logan Richards and Devlin Clark; and 1 great granddaughter, Layla Smith, all of Barren County, KY.

Also surviving are 5 sisters, Grace Wagner and husband Paul, Genevie Richards, Mildred Fluharty and husband Delmas, and Edna Richards, all of Calhoun County, and Lilly Jean "Hinkie" Bush and husband Charles of Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Randy Richards; brothers, Marshall, Holly, Dale and Ershel Richards; and a sister, Helen Richards.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 22 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the #7 Cemetery at Nobe.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening.
