MORFORD RELEASED FROM CAMC FOLLOWING ATV ACCIDENT

The director of Calhoun's DHHR office, Jim Morford was released from Charleston Area Medical Center Friday, after being treated for broken ribs and a laceration to the liver.

Morford is recuperating at home, and expects to return to work shortly.

He was injured May 9th when his four-wheeler collided with a large oil and gas company truck in a sharp turn on Pine Creek Road near Hur.

Morford was life-flighted to CAMC by HealthNet, shortly after the 3:30 p.m. accident.

He and his wife Bev were ATV riding near Hur when the accident happened. Mrs. Morford did not require hospitalization.
