WOOD COUNTY MAN DIES IN ATV ACCIDENT - Boggs Has Calhoun Connection

A Wood County man died Saturday afternoon in an all-terrain vehicle accident near Mineral Wells. Kenneth Boggs, 20, of Mineral Wells, was killed when the ATV he was riding went out of control on a black-top road and struck a tree off Route 21. Boggs has a Calhoun connection, being related to the late Leonard Boggs. He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene. Boggs' death is added to what will likely be a record number of ATV deaths in the Mountain State.
