WASHINGTON - Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) announced yesterday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved a $72,000 Rural Development grant for the Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.

The funds will be used to purchase an equipped critical care transport ambulance.

"Providing quality health care to rural West Virginia is extremely important, so I'm pleased to announce this $72,000 to help Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center continue to provide the best possible care to residents in Calhoun County," said Rep. Capito.

USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents.
