CAI CLOTHIER PLACES IN 30K MT. RACE

Cai Clothier, 14, of Millstone, pedaled his way to a 2nd place result in the Jr. Sport, age 14 and under class at the Henry Clay 30K at Cooper's Rock this past Sunday. While this was the 3rd WV Mountain Bike Association race of the year, it was Cai's first effort in his home state. April 23th found Cai thrashing through the woods outside of Clemson, South Carolina at the Tiger Rag, where he placed 3rd in his class. He took a Spring Break road trip to watch portions of the Tour de Georgia, and was in the neighborhood. The following weekend took Cai to Maryland for the Greenbrier AMBC Challenge on April 30th - where he placed 1st in his class, thereby qualifying him for the one-day National Championship races in July.
