ANNUAL MOTHER-DAUGHTER TEA - "Treasured Keepsakes" Is 2006 Theme

Submitted by Brenda McBride The Sixth Annual Mother and Daughter Tea will be held at the Calhoun County Committee On Aging's Senior Center in Grantsville May 11 beginning at 6 p.m. The theme this year will be "Treasured Keepsakes". Come celebrate Mother's Day with your daughters and granddaughters. Bring them to this special "tea" in your honor. The buffet dinner will include Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Green Beans, Tropical Fruit, Cake, Hot Roll, Coffee and Tea. Guest speaker will be Mrs. Jean Simers. Special activities will include, a "Fashion Show" presented by the First Baptist Women's Group. Marisha Collins and daughters Kelsey and Katlin will provide special singing. Formal pictures will be taken. Dress in your "Sunday Best" for Mother's Day pictures. There will be recognition awards and door prize drawings. Attendance is by reservation only.
