NEWSPAPER CARRIER TRANSFERED TO CHARLESTON FOR HEAD INJURY

A Charleston Gazette newspaper carrier whose car crashed on Rowel's Run near Hur early yesterday morning has been transfered from MHHCC in Grantsville to Charleston General, reportedly suffering from head injuries.

Bonnie Adkins, 23, of Big Otter, lost control of her vehicle on the rural road during foggy conditions, the car tumbled over a steep embankment, ripping its top off as it struck a tree.

Adkins was left in a precarious situation, almost dangling in her car as rescue personnel extracted her from the vehicle.
