(05/03/2006)
Ritchie County resident Emily Mitchell, 17, was still in critical condition last night, according to Charleston Area Medical Center.

She is suffering from head trauma received when she was injured in a four-wheeler on which she was riding when it collided with another ATV.

Mitchell was life-flighted from Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center Monday night following the accident at Cherry Fork near Nobe.

Mitchell was reportedly on a 4-wheeler with Desma Cunningham, about 16, who was not apparently not seriously injured.

That 4-wheeler reportedly collided with a 4-wheeler driven by Dylan Little, about 13, a student at Calhoun Middle School. He is the son of David and Tina Little.

Little was treated at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center and released.
