TEEN CRITICAL AFTER CALHOUN ATV ACCIDENT

A 17-year-old teen is listed in critical condition in ICU at Charleston Area Medical Center, after suffering severe head trauma in an ATV accident on Cherry Fork. Emily Mitchell was life-flighted from Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center in Grantsville last night, after two ATVs reportedly collided. Mitchell is reportedly a resident of Ritchie County. At least one other female, about 16, was injured, in addition to a 13-year-old male. Neither apparently sustained serious injuries. See earlier Herald story.
