OHIO PATROLMEN STOP SPENCER MEN FOR DRUG BUST

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported stopping two Spencer, West Virginia men Friday on Interstate 77 for an equipment violation, confiscating one pound of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The two men, Dennis M. Kelly Jr, 22, and Timothy D. Parkin, 20, of Spencer, appeared in the Marietta Municipal Court.

Kelly was charged with possession of marijuana, a fifth degree felony, and minor misdemeanors for illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

Parkin was charged with possession of marijuana.

Kelly was driving a 2002 Saturn SC2 at the time of the arrest.

The two men were incarcerated in the Washington County Jail. If found guilty, they could face up to one year in prison and a $2,500 fine.
