Motorcyclist injured in sharp curve down Sand Ridge Hill

"Same place, different day," said an Arnoldsburg fireman who responded to a motorcycle accident at 12:30 p.m. today on US 33-119, Sand Ridge Hill.

A 59-year-old Indiana man reportedly received a shoulder and possible other injuries after he lost control of his bike in a sharp turn where numerous other cyclists have wrecked, including one who was fatally injured.

Local emergency services responded to the spot only a few days ago.

The man, who was riding with friends, was taken to MHHCC by Calhoun EMS. Sources at the scene said he did not appear to be seriously injured.

The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the accident.
