The attack seemed to date back to a July altercation involving harsh words spoken on a basketball court, police said.

BROTHER KILLS BROTHER - A fight between two Harrison County brothers turned deadly.

Harrison County Sheriff's Department says 65-year-old Edward Campbell shot and killed his brother 51-year-old John Campbell inside their home at Hughes Camp.

DUNBAR BANK HELD UP - Police are looking for two people involved in the armed robbery of the City National Bank branch of Dunbar.

Dunbar Police Chief Earl Whittington says a man wearing a toboggan over his face entered the bank, pulled out a gun and demanded money from the tellers.

No one was injured, but the man made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

Investigators say there was a silver compact car waiting for the robber outside. It's not clear if the driver was male or female.

FAIRMONT MAN GETS LIFE AFTER SHOOTING - A Fairmont man has been sentenced to life in prison in the killing of a Fairmont State University freshman.

A Marion County jury convicted Dayton Lister of first-degree murder and did not recommend mercy. Judge Fred Fox sentenced the 22-year-old Lister to life in prison without the chance of parole.

Lister was accused in the August 2005 shooting death of 18-year-old Krystal Peterson.

Peterson had enrolled for the fall semester at Fairmont State two days before she was shot at an apartment building near campus.
