Two Nebo, Clay County, residents have been arrested on drug charges issued from Braxton County.

Misty Dawn Westfall-Short, 29, and Michael Gene Short, 48, were arrested over the weekend after authorities reportedly received a tip that the couple were manufacturing methamphetamine at their residence at Nebo.

The Short's reportedly were purchasing items used in the manufacturing of meth from retail establishments in Braxton, Nicholas, Lewis and Kanawha counties.

Police said the couple's residence produced methamphetamine, marijuana and manufacturing items.

Six loaded weapons were discovered during the search. Short is a convicted felon and not allowed to possess weapons.
