A pick-up truck belonging to Buddy Turner of Locust Avenue, Spencer was
completely destroyed by fire early this morning on Route 16, three miles
south of Arnoldsburg.
Arnoldsburg Fire Chief Bill Jones said the 1999 Dodge Dakota apparently
caught fire when "weed eater gas" spilled in the back of the vehicle. The
AVFD answered the call at 5:15 a.m. with two trucks and seven firemen.
