Micheal Paul Whipkey, II, 17 - Arnoldsburg

Micheal Paul Whipkey, II, 17, of Arnoldsburg, died Sunday, April 9, 2006, from injuries received in ATV accident on Road Run near Arnoldsburg.

He was born March 31, 1989, in Spencer, a son of Micheal Paul and Nancy Jean Poorman Whipkey.

Micheal was an 11th grade student at Calhoun Middle High School. He enjoyed auto mechanics and camping.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jeremy Poling and one sister, Stacy Poling both of Arnoldsburg; paternal grandmother, Hester Curry of Mt. Zion; maternal grandparents, Richard and Ruth Poorman of Sand Ridge; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ralph Whipkey, Sr.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, April 13 at 11 a.m. in the Arnoldsburg Community Building with Pastor Alfred Hickman officiating. Burial will be in the Kight Cemetery, White Pine Road, Grantsville.

Friends may call at the community building from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
