Thelma D. Deel, 78, of Spencer, died July 8, 2001, at Mile Tree Health Care
Center of Spencer.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose Howard
Riddle. She was a former employee of Rubber Fabricators of Grantsville and
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville.
Surviving are one son, Ronald D. Ward of Grantsville; two sisters, Lorraine
''Brook'' Rogers and Eleanor ''Dink'' Duskey both of Grantsville; three
brothers, John Riddle of Monroeville, Ohio, Gene Riddle of Glendale, Ariz., and
Jim Riddle of Vienna, Va.; and two grandchildren, Melissa Munday and Ryka
Ward.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Deel; four sisters, Opal
Riddle, Nina Ferrell, Jeanette Robinson and Dellia Riddle; and two brothers,
Howard and Blaine Riddle.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stump Funeral Home of
Grantsville, the Rev. Robert Nicholas will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt.
Zion Cemetery of Mt. Zion. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
