Whitey Forron, 80 - Spencer

Whitey Forron, 80, of Spencer, died Friday, March 18, 2006, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness. He was born October 11, 1925 in Rainelle. Whitey was a former employee of Spencer Business Forms, Inc., Hardman-Conrad Funeral Home and Vandale Funeral Home all of Spencer. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. His hobbies were camping and fishing with his family. Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Forron of Spencer; stepson and daughter-in-law, Eddie Gene and Joyce Lynn Burgess of Spencer; son, James Rick Wright of Portsmouth, OH and daughter, Melody Wilkins of Morgantown; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Forron and one son, William D. Forron. His body will be cremated and a private graveside service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Roane General Hospital, SNF Unit, 200 Hospital Drive, Spencer, WV 25276 or Peggy J. Forron, 1277 Colt Ridge, Spencer, WV 25276. John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
