Norma Emolene Rose, 67, of Rosedale, West Virginia died March 16, 2006 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 9, 1938 at Perkins, WV, the daughter of the late Lele and Jennie Dobbins.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Elder George Rose of Rosedale; one son, Lele Rose and his wife, Julia of Rosedale; three daughters, Jenny Putnam and her husband Clayton of Augusta, MT, Tresha Cottrill and her husband Stanley of Rosedale, and Julie Dobbins and her husband Kenny of Rosedale.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, Amanda Rose of Kent, Ohio, Robbie Brown of Frametown, Alicia and Amelia Rose of Rosedale, Rachel Goethals, Joshua Putnam, Elizabeth Smock, Leah, Sarah, Caleb, Rebekah, and Lydia Putnam of Augusta, MT, Joey ant Michelle Cottrill of Rosedale, Mindy Cottrill of Gassaway, Ethan and Michaela Dobbins of Rosedale; 3 great grandchildren, Hunter and Tanner Goethals, and Lilly Smock of Augusta, MT; 3 brothers, Delvin Dobbins of Perkins, Melvin and Elvin Dobbins of Oberlin, Ohio; 4 sisters, Evelyn Gum, Evelene Rexroad and Wavelene Jenkins of Gassaway, and Josephine Burns of Wellington, Ohio.

She was a loving wife and mother and long time member of the Crooked Fork Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 20 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Elders Leary Vanhorn and Robert Woods will officiate. Interment will be in the Crooked Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
