COMMISSION WILL APPROVE POLL WORKERS - Budget Session Scheduled

The Calhoun Commission will approve election workers today at 9 a.m., recommended to the County Clerk by local executive committees. A second session will be conducted today at 10 a.m. to work on the county budget for 2006-07. The commission is expecting to open bids on a new computer programming system for the Sheriff's Department. Other items on the agenda: - A report on E-911/new center - Report on quarters for family court system - Report Diane Ludwig, director of LK Area Development Council - Review appointments to boards and authorities - Grants, contracts, applications and resolutions - Courthouse security project granted, new windows for courthouse - Courthouse accessibility - Campground at County Park - Among other routine items.
