Bradley F. Carr, 79 - Stumptown

Bradley F. Carr, 79, of Stumptown, West Virginia, died March 9, 2006, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville.

Carr lived with his wife Betty in Calhoun for several years.

He was born Nov. 25, 1926, in Braxton County, a son of the late Earl and Maude Meadows Carr. He was a construction worker, an Army veteran and a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church, Belfont.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Moyers Carr; daughters and their husbands, Judy and Henry Allen of West Milford, Ruby and Raymond Digman of Pennsboro, Susie and Van Carr of Lagrange, Ohio, and Jo Ann and the Rev. Bill Hunt of Weston; brother, Smith Carr of Belfont; nine grandsons; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Bailey Carr; and two infant brothers.

Services were conducted noon Sunday at the Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV, with the Rev. Bill Hunt and the Rev. Larry Conrad officiating. Burial was in the Carr Cemetery, Belfont.
