GRANTSVILLE MAN ARRESTED DUI FLEEING

A Grantsville man was arrested for DUI after he fled from police in Spencer, according to the State Police. Ronzel Boatright, 53, was charged with fleeing DUI, DUI 1st offense, failure to keep right, and resisting/obstructing an officer, by Trooper Fred Hammack. Boatright was first spotted driving erratically by the Spencer Police Department, who tried to pull him over. Hammack joined the pursuit and made the stop on Bower's Hill, just east of Spencer on US 33-119. The State Police said Boatright resisted arrest and had to be secured with restraints. He will appear in magistrate court on March 13th.
