The 2005/2006 basketball season ended for the Calhoun Middle School boys' teams during the weekend of February 24th. The A Team went into that tournament with a 9-8 record playing Richwood after a win in the first bracket against Spencer Middle School.

The game against Richwood was a sad loss for the boys at a 30-36 score. This loss put them in the consolation game against Clay Middle on Saturday the 25th. The boys were victorious in this game with a win of 39-34.

Three of the players were named as All-Tournament members. They were Justin Gerwig, Kyle Keesler, and Zach Moore. Zach was also awarded the recognition of All-LKC team.

The season ended with the coaching skills of Adam Oharrow, who was substituting for Coach Mike Sims. The boys appreciated Coach Oharrow's efforts and always remembered their faithful leader in the huddle with an exuberant shout for "Coach Sims!".

The B Team ended their season the week of February 13th. This team completed their season with a 4-12 record. Their wins were against Geary Middle and Walton Middle, one of which was a season thriller against the latter. The home game against Walton ended in a nail-biting overtime win in a score of 15-13.
