Hersman said last years highly successful ATV and truck mud bog is returning, along with a gigantic fireworks display, street entertainment, crafters and the grand parade. "We are really in need of folks to help us with this year's festival," said Hersman, the next meeting is scheduled for March 16th at 6 p.m. at Grantsville's DHHR office. "Since this is the county's 150th birthday, we'd really like to have some people from around the county to give us a hand," Hersman said. The committee would like to receive nominations from county residents for this year's Parade Marshall. "We would like to have a person who represents the spirit of Calhoun," Hersman said, man or woman. Nominations can be mailed to - Wood Festival, P. O. Box 722, Grantsville WV 26147.
