ACCIDENT VICTIMS UPDATES - Report On Condition

Jason Moores of Orma, who was injured in a two-car collision July 3 on Rt. 16 near Wolf Run, was released from a Charleston hospital today. (See Herald story on July 3) Ryan "Goob" Fitzwater underwent reparative surgery early morning on July 4, and is expected to receive additional surgery on July 5. (SEE earlier Herald story) Chris Butt of Mt. Zion was released from a Parkersburg Hospital on July 4 with two broken arms. He was injured in a 4-wheeler accident last Friday evening, June 29. Laura Pfeffer, 16, who was injured late Tuesday night, July 3, was treated and released from Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center. (See Herald story on July 3) John Sampson, 18, or his passenger, did not require hospitalization July 4 after his vehicle went out of control on slippery Route 16 two miles north of Grantsville.
