Reba Ann Eagle Given, 65 - Summersville

Reba Ann Eagle Given, 65, of Summersville, formerly of Widen, went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 19, 2006, after a sudden illness.

Born May 29, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mae Eagle. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet, and an infant brother, Carl.

She was a loving and kind soul who never met a stranger.

She was the devoted wife of Earl Given for 47 years. She was the mother of five children, daughters, Debbie Pittman and husband, Bill, of West Salem, Ohio, Tammy Given of Doylestown, Ohio, Rhondella Campbell of Fairmont and Machelle McCann and husband, Tony, of Charlotte, N.C., and son, Randy Given and wife, Michelle, of Little Birch. She had 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Leonard Eagle and wife, Sandy, of Parma Ohio, Gary Eagle and wife, Candy, of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Barbara Ward and husband, Jim, of Ivydale and Sonja Eagle of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime, faithful member of Grace Baptist Church, Persinger, and was the leader of the BYF Group for many years. She leaves a legacy of true friendship to those she touched. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Grace Baptist Church, Persinger.

The Waters Funeral Chapel, Summersville, is in charge of arrangements.

In keeping with her spirit and unselfish giving, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 4510-C Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV 25302.
