Authorities have yet to make an arrest after at least three vehicles were stolen in Clay County, including two service trucks belonging to Frontier Telephone with over $200,000 of pricey equipment.

A large Frontier boom truck was found near an old house and trailer on Murder Mountain once occupied by Richard Cummings, one-time gunshot victim who was associated with several other crime scenes.

Cummings has not been connected to the heist, but most of the cache of tools were found nearby his abandoned residence, along with another stolen vehicle.

Thieves reportedly had been playing around in the vehicles when they got hung up.

Another truck connected to the recent crime-streak was found on Jordan Creek in Kanawha County and another truck, likely stolen, was discovered near a local church.

Murder Mountain was the scene of numerous shootings, reportedly linked to drug trafficking.
