Katheryn was 2004 Calhoun County Belle

Katheryn Dale (Stump) Burrows passed away at the age of 71 on February 6, 2006. After living in Richfield, Ohio and retiring from the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Brecksville, Ohio, she returned to Grantsville with her husband, Coleman Gene.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Gail Warfield of Mogadore, Ohio, Sandra Dale Roznovsky and husband, Rick of Stony Point, North Carolina, and Leah June Cheyney and husband Max of Brunswick, Ohio.

They are also survived by 6 grandchildren, Amanda Watkins and husband Bryan, Grant Warfield, Ryan and Cassandra Roznovsky, and Corrina and Jesse Cheyney.

Katheryn is survived by sisters, Estrial Kennedy, Barbara Kimble; and brothers, Robert, Harold, Sammy and Donald Stump.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse Taylor and Ethel Carrie (Kight) Stump; and by her brothers, Albert and Carlos, and sister Ila Williams.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

She was involved with the Pleasant Hill CEOS, was a 27 year breast cancer survivor and worked extensively on various fund raisers for cancer awareness and was the 2004 Calhoun County Belle.

Katheryn enjoyed basket weaving, crocheting, gardening, quilting, sewing and volunteering.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Reverends Rick Metheney and John Glesner will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Grantsville.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
