ORMA MAN INJURED TUESDAY - Two-Car Collision On Route 16 South

Jason Moores, a former Ohio resident who reportedly resides on Wolf Run near Orma, received "serious injuries" in a two-car collision on Route 16, just south of Orma. Calhoun EMS transported Moores to Roane General Hospital shortly after the 4 p.m. accident. Moores and Brooks vehicles Calhoun EMS respond The Moores' vehicle went over an embankment after striking a car belonging to John Junior Brooks of Spencer. Brooks was traveling north and Moores was traveling south, according to Deputy Ron Bandy of the Calhoun Sheriffs Department, who is investigating. Calhoun EMS responded with two ambulances. The Upper West Fork VFD also responded.
