Carrie Bell Starcher, 80, of Marion, Ohio, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born November 11, 1925, in Hur, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Guy and Martha (Adams) Miller. On April 19, 1945, in Hur, W.Va., she married Leonard Ray Starcher. He died January 16, 1987, in Marion. A homemaker, she was a member of Marion Enterprise Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Wilcox, Marion; four sons, Guy Starcher Jr., Marion, David Drew (Laura) Starcher, Marion, Terry Lee (Tammy) Starcher, Marion, Michael Ray (his fiancé Loraine) Starcher of Chesterville; three sisters, Beulah Crawford, Chloe, W.Va., Velma Board, Barberton, Delma Hall, Canton; two brothers, Carl (Pauline) Miller, Davisville, W.Va., Harold (Cletis) Miller, Marion; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Ray Starcher, a brother and a sister. The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at Boyd Funeral Home with Russell Howard, minister, officiating. Burial is in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
