Chloe Alfred, 85 - Naples, Florida

Chloe Alfred, 85, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Orma, West Virginia, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Bill McElvey, of Naples. Chloe was born July 28, 1918, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sallie Parsons Butler of Beech, WV. She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Nancy) Alfred of Orrville, OH, and Roger (Bonnie) Alfred of Lakeville, OH; two daughters, Sally Gizzard of Dover TN, and Doris (Bill) McElvey of Naples, FL. Chloe also left behind 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; one sister, Flava Fisher of Cottageville, WV, and one brother, Milton (Dalen) Butler of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred, 1 granddaughter, 2 great grandchildren and 8 siblings. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Orma United Methodist Church, c/o Sharon Settles, HC 73 Box 7, Orma, WV 25268 or to Hospice of Naples, c/o Doris McElvey, 2655 14th. Street, N. Naples, FL 34102. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Interment will be in the Orma UM Church Cemetery, Orma. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
