"FURR-Y FRIENDS" OFFER DISCOUNT FOR SPAY-NEUTERING - Some Certificates Expire Feb. 1

The "Furr-y Friends" Spay-Neuter Group issue certificates for a discount on spay and neuter services for pets. The discount for spaying is $25 off the total cost, and $10 off for neutering. Janet Richards, President of the group is reminding folks that all older certificates will expire on February 1, 2006. "A lot of people who applied and received certificates months ago, have not used them," she said. New certificates issued will expire after 30 days. The 30 day expiration will allow more people to apply and receive the discount to have their pets spay or neutered. One unspayed female cat, her mate and all of their offspring can produce in nine years 11,606,077 kittens, according to Pet Savers Foundation, Inc.
