YOUTH WRESTLERS QUALIFY FOR TOURNAMENT

Submitted by Kristie Ritchie Calhoun Youth Wrestlers competed at Mineral Wells over the weekend. The tournament was a qualifier for the Tournament of Champions held in Ohio. In order to qualify wrestlers must win 1st-3rd place. The Calhoun Youth team had seven wrestlers place and four wrestlers qualify at the tournament. They were, Cole Jarvis-4th; Daniel Hall-4th; Conner Ritchie-2nd; Casey Ritchie-4th; Cole Ritchie-3rd; Josh Parsons-3rd; and Nate Hipp-2nd. Others participating were, Katie Jones, Dakota Godfrey, Jerry Jones, Dalton McCune, Nick Reip, Houstin McCune, Allen Metheney, Cody Parsons, Jared Haught, Evan Mace. Calhoun Youth Wrestlers will compete at Summersville Saturday, January 28.
