CIRCUIT COURT CONTINUES

(01/25/2006)
Judge Thomas Evans III is scheduled to consider further sentencing today for Michael Smith in Calhoun Circuit Court.

Evans will also consider a civil case, Worldwide Assets vs. Starkey, regarding a summary judgment.

Other civil cases on the docket is Forest Roberts vs. Megan Oil and Gas, a hearing on the plaintiff's right to eminent domain, and Larry Lane vs. Everett Lane, a motion for injunctive relief.

The court will be rescheduling a lengthy docket that was canceled Monday because Judge David Nibert was unable to get to Grantsville because of flooding.
