MATT SIEGRIST RETURNS FROM IRAQ

Matt Siegrist has returned home safely from Iraq. Matt was deployed last November and returned home to Barberton, Ohio on January 7th, where he now resides with his wife Mindy.

While Matt was in Iraq, he participated in over 100 combat missions as a gunner and driver. He was instrumental in locating, handling and disposal of several weapons during operations.

Matt was struck by IED detonations on three different occasions and sustained minor injuries.

He served as a team leader while in Iraq with Charlie Company 612th Engineer Battalion.

His family says "We welcome him home with open arms and loving hearts. And thank you and all of your readers for your prayers while he was away. Our prayers have been answered."
