METH LAB DISCOVERED IN GRANNIES CREEK HOUSE

(01/18/2006)
A Roane County woman is behind bars at Central Regional Jail after West Virginia State Troopers found the ingredients to make methamphetamine in her residence.

Sabrina Metheney was arrested on charges of attempting to operate a clandestine lab and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

Troopers issued a search warrant and found components in her home on Grannies Creek, an area that authorities say has been a hot-bed of drug trafficking, near Ovapa, Clay County and Murder Mountain.

Metheney is being held on a $72,000 bond.

She will be back in court on Friday.
