Wilbur Duane Haught, 64 - Big Springs

Wilbur Duane Haught, 64, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away December 31, 2005 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born June 27, 1941 in Ritchie County, the son of the late Joshua and Thelma Deem Haught.

Wilbur retired from E.I. Dupont after working 31 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patrica June Dye Haught; two daughters, Tama and Keith Cross, and Teresa and Jeff Basnett; one son, Tracy and Patty Haught; eight grandsons, Jeremy and Josh Cross, Jacob and Jared Haught, Jordan, Logan, Luke and Joel Basnett; two brothers, Denzil and Ron Haught; two sisters, Josephine Lemon and Lois Bumgardner, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Schlicher, and three brothers, Carol, Gilbert and Carlos Haught.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 4 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the Ayers Cemetery at Smithville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
