DELEGATE STEMPLE RELEASES BUDGET DIGEST LIST - School Funding Items Will Follow

Del. Bill Stemple has released funding from the 2001 Budget Digest for Calhoun, Clay and Gilmer counties. Stemple said some of the grants on the list are joint efforts with Sen. Donna Boley.

The list does not include Budget Digest items for education. Stemple said that list is forthcoming.

CALHOUN:

Calhoun Wood Festival - $5000

Appalachian Bike Classic - $1500

WV Molasses Festival - $2000

Calhoun EMS - $40,000

Arnoldsburg VFD - $18,500

Minnie Hamilton Health Care - $30,000

Grantsville VFD - $5000

Calhoun County Park - $15,000 (roof replacement)

Calhoun Assessor's Office - $2,746 (maps/sleeves)

Upper West Fork Blue Grass Festival - $500
