SEARS DIES FROM 4-WHEELER INJURIES

A Chloe, Calhoun resident has died from injuries he received in an 4-wheeler accident on December 18.

He had been in critical condition since the accident.

Dana Delbert Sears, 38, died December 28 at CAMC-General Division from head trauma he experienced when his 4-wheeler left Lower Nicut Road, crashing over an embankment.

He was life-flighted to Charleston from the Upper West Fork Park.

The accident happened about one mile off Euclid-Nicut road, about five miles from State Rt. 16 at Orma.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2006, at the Sears Cemetery, Nebo, with Minister Dewey Tanner officiating. There will be no visitation. Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on August 27, 1967, in Braxton County, the son of the late Dallas Lee and Evelyn Hall Sears of Chloe. He was a laborer for S & T Pipeline, a member of the Steel Workers Union and Laborers International Union.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his brothers, Denzil, Ronnie, Zyndall, and Donnie, all of Chloe and Dennis of Nicut; sisters, Rosalee King, Norma Seabolt, and Sharon Sears, all of Chloe.
