SEARS STILL CRITICAL AFTER ATV ACCIDENT

Twenty-seven-year-old Dana Sears was still listed in critical condition at Charleston Area Medical Center, Monday night. Sears was injured December 18 in a 4-wheeler accident on Lower Nicut Road. He received serious injuries, reportedly suffering head trauma, when his ATV left the highway, crashing over an embankment. He was life-flighted to Charleston from the Upper West Fork Park. The accident happened about one mile off Euclid-Nicut road, about five miles from State Rt. 16 at Orma. Calhoun EMS responded to the scene with the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
