A PRETTY QUIET HOLIDAY

(12/27/2005)
Grantsville firemen answered an assistance call from the Smithville VFD at 10:45 p.m. Monday to a garage fire on Coal Fork.

Coal Fork is located between Leading Creek and Rt. 16.

Smithville advised Grantsville to return to station prior their arrival.

A car crashed through the guardrail at Annamoriah at 9:45 a.m. Monday and went over the hill 30 feet.

The accident happened on snow-covered Rt. 5.

The occupant was apparently uninjured, and was not taken to the hospital by Calhoun EMS.

The Grantsville VFD also responded.

Emergency services answered a wreck call on Christmas Day on Walnut, but the driver refused treatment.
