BOARD COMPLETES DECEMBER AGENDA

The Calhoun Board of Education covered numerous items following lengthy expulsion hearings Monday evening. (See earlier Herald story)

Board members Don Harris reported on the November 29 CGCC meeting and Carlene Frederick reported on the November 30 RESA meeting.

Volunteer agreements were approved for Gina Cano-Stump (PHE); Bruce Fitzwater (CMHS); Debra Stalnaker (CMHS); and Donna Yoak (PHE).

Personnel items approved:

- Retirement/Resignation: Melissa Jones - Math Tutor Teacher (Extra Curricular)

- Job Postings: Mentor - Elementary Teacher (PHE) and Math Tutor (CMHS)

- Employment: Bernard Miller - Custodian III (CMHS); Terry Jones - Mentor - Science (CMHS); Russell Ferrell - Mentor - Health/Physical Education (CMHS); Rebecca Miller - Mentor - Reading Specialist (PHE); Samantha Jarvis - Substitute Teacher; Misty King - Substitute Teacher; John Nicolais-Substitute Teacher.

- Finance: Invoices - $508,344.70; Supplements - $178,110.69; Transfers - $764,098.22.

The next meeting is January 17.
