2005: BABY KASON IS COMING HOME - A Christmas Blessing

(12/24/2008)

(L) I hope Santa figures out I'm not in Pittsburgh anymore
(R) Lookout Calhoun County here I come!

(Editors Note) Kason Hupp, at four-months and five-days-old, underwent transplant surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh on July 21, 2005. He received a new small bowel, liver, and pancreas. Below is a message from the Hupp family

The Christmas Blessing 2005

We have great news! If all goes well this week Kason, his mother, Katie and great grandmother, Geraldine will be home for Christmas.

Kason is doing very well. He has a few tests and a doctors appointment this week. After getting home Kason will continue to have weekly check-ups either in Pittsburgh, Charleston or Grantsville.

We want to thank each and every person for all of your concerns since Kason's birth and transplant.

Every call, e-mail, card, Kason's CarePage notes and "How is Kason?" asked in passing has been much appreciated. You will never know how much.

We especially would like to thank you for all your prayers. God does work miracles. We also again would like to thank the people who organized the benefits and all of you who donated. This helped tremendously with expenses in Pittsburgh.

We have met a lot of good people in Pittsburgh, but they can't compare to Calhounians.

We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Always count your many blessings, as we are doing.
