Hotel will reopen soon
Grantsville's 103-year-old hotel is being resurrected, with plans to re-open in about six
weeks, according to Mary Hickman of White Pine. Alice and her sister-in-law, Mary
purchased the hotel and restaurant last week and "we're moving ahead to open it
up."
Mary is familiar with the facility, having worked for several years for the Whipkey's,
former owners. "We will offer some really good "down home" cooking," she said.
The hotel has been closed for about one year.
The Hickman's will also be re-opening the facilities twelve rooms for guests.
