Rockin' to those 50s tunes

"A Christmas Potpourri" was a special Christmas evening of entertainment at Calhoun High last night, presented by the Fine Arts Department.

The production featured the band, dancers, choir, theater and art department.

The choir performed "Sing Joy," "Baby's Born in Bethlehem," "Lift up your Voice," and other songs.

Briana Blankenship and Harry Rich, GSC professor emeritus, performed trumpet duets.

Katie Walker did a stage "Tapestry Drawing."

The school band performed "Happy Christmas Holiday," "He Comes Santa Claus," "Let it be Snow," and other other numbers.

Dance groups presented line dancing and 50s rock 'n roll, and the theater group performed "Dorthy Meets Alice."
