West Virginia's School Building Authority allocated money yesterday, a total of $66.79 million to 25 counties. There were no projects funded in regional counties, including a funding request by the Calhoun Board of Education to replace the carpet at Calhoun Middle-High School with tile. Thirty-six counties had asked for $147 million dollars. A list of funded projects: Berkeley County: Martinsburg South Middle School addition and renovations, $3.45 million. Cabell County: new Martha Elementary School, $3.28 million. Fayette County: new Oak Hill Elementary School, $4.38 million. Grant County: Petersburg High School addition and renovations, $3.65 million. Hardy County: new Moorefield Intermediate School, $5.73 million. Jackson County: two new middle schools and a new elementary school, $5.18 million. Jefferson County: renovations at three elementary schools, $953,795. Lewis County: Robert L. Bland Middle School renovations, $4.87 million. Lincoln County: Hamlin PK-8 School renovations, $1.98 million. Marion County, Jayenne School addition and renovations, $2.4 million. Marshall County: addition and/or renovations at five schools, $2.66. Mason County: Mason County Career Center renovations, $4.42 million. Mercer County: Princeton Middle School addition and renovations, $712,525. Mineral County: Frankfort High School addition and renovations, $1.45 million. Monroe County: Monroe County Technical Center renovations, $621,235. Ohio County: Bridge Street Middle School HVAC renovation, $1.5 million. Pendleton County: Brandywine Elementary School addition and renovations, $100,000. Pleasants County: Pleasants County Middle School roof replacement, $1 million. Preston County: Rowlesburg Elementary/Middle School roof replacement, $394,473. Putnam County: new Teays Valley Elementary School, $4.4 million. Raleigh County: new Fairdale Elementary School, $5.3 million. Summers County: new Talcott Elementary School, $3.39 million. Upshur County: additions at two schools, $3.71 million. Webster County: new Hacker Valley PK-8 School, $500,000. Wyoming County: Berlin McKinney Elementary School renovations, $704,388.
