RURAL WATER GROUP SAYS DAVE JOHNSON IS "ORGANIZED PROFESSIONAL"

WV Rural Water Association's William Miller, a Circuit Rider for the organization, recently wrote about Grantsville's chief water operator Dave Johnson (pictured left).

"My first visit to the Town of Grantsville in Calhoun County led me to one of the most organized water professionals I've ever met," Miller wrote in "The Mountain State Water Line."

"Dave Johnson, chief operator, has any piece of information on his water plant that you might want. When I first met Dave, I asked him something related to his TTHM's or HAA5's."

"He led me to a storage room where there were shelves stacked with three-ring binders. He then proceeded to find the information I was seeking and showed me much more."

"Not only does he have everything neatly filed in his storage room, but he also has all his operation records on computer."

Johnson is chief of the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department, the Director of Calhoun's 911, and helps provide ambulance service to the community. He has also been on the local scuba diving rescue team.
