GOODNIGHT RUNS WIFE DOWN WITH PICK-UP TRUCK

Fifty-two-year-old Judy Goodnight of Elizabeth is recovering Tuesday after her husband allegedly attempted to run her down with his pick-up truck. Wood County Sheriff's deputies say 47-year-old Robert Goodnight allegedly struck his wife with his truck as she was walking down Route 47 Monday afternoon. Authorities said she refused treatment. Robert Goodnight was arrested and arraigned at Wood County Magistrate Court for malicious wounding. He's being held in the North Central Regional Jail on $5,000 bond.
