WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - "Pull Out Your Teeth, Burn Your Body"

(12/02/2005)
CHARLESTON MAN THREATENS HAMMER DEATH - This is a pretty wild incident, according to authorities.

A Charleston man is facing charges for allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend. Twenty-three-year-old Joshua Lee Slater (pictured left) reportedly went to the home of Angela Walls and accused her of stealing from him.

Slater allegedly hit her in the leg with a hammer and struck the side of her head with his fist.

Then, according to the report, Slater forced Walls to dress in camouflage and told her he'd shoot her in the woods and make it look like an accident.

He allegedly told her he would pull out her teach and burn her body so she couldn't be identified.

The woman then asked if she could spend some time with her kids before she died.

She then escaped through a window, with her kids.

Slater was arrested and is being held in South Central Regional Jail on charges of wanton endangerment, kidnapping, burglary and unlawful wounding.

Slater also has an unlawful wounding charge from an October stabbing incident.

SCHOOL BOY STABBED ON BUS - State Police in Upshur County are investigating a school bus incident in which one boy reportedly stabbed another in the leg.

Police said the motive was not clear.

The boys, both age 15, were on their way to Buckhannon-Upshur High School yesterday morning when one was stabbed in the lower calf with a pocketknife.

He was treated and released from an area clinic.

The suspect has been suspended for at least five days.
