ANDY ARTHUR WILL PARTICIPATE IN HOBY SEMINAR

Calhoun High School sophomore Andrew Arthur of Orma, has been accepted to attend the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership seminar at the University of Charleston in May.

The HOBY three-day seminar includes a service component called "Leadership for Service."

About 7,500 sophomores across the USA attend HOBY Seminars to undertake community service projects and improve leadership skills.

The project is to step up efforts to help young people realize the personal and social benefits of volunteerism and service. HOBY gives each Ambassador who successfully completes the course special recognition and other rewards.
